About

I began my career in heritage conservation at the Willowbank School of Restoration Arts, where I trained in traditional trades like carpentry, masonry, and stained glass, alongside sustainable building practices, cultural landscapes, and planning. This hands-on education shaped my approach to restoration, one that respects the layers of history while embracing innovative uses for heritage spaces.

Now working as the project manager at The Brown Homestead, I focus on the intersection of craftsmanship, history, and practical use. My time at Willowbank taught me not only the value of working with my hands but also how to uncover and honor the layers of heritage that make each space unique. At The Brown Homestead, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with skilled heritage tradesmen, expanding my expertise in heritage conservation and gaining a deeper understanding of specific trades. This experience has allowed me to blend traditional techniques with adaptive reuse projects, creating spaces that connect the past with the present.

Campbell Heritage is where I document, share, and celebrate the stories of heritage in practice—a living case study that blends traditional craftsmanship with the lasting value of cultural heritage.
